On kindle, I have started The lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver, winner of the 2010 Orange Prize. Here's hoping it's as good as The Poisonwood Bible.

By the bedside, I am reading The Good Parents by Australian author Joan London. I have previously enjoyed her successful novel Gilgamesh.

So far, so good for both of these.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

Since I'm still in college, I've been reading an American history book. It has some really amazing stuff. Did you know Christopher Columbus thought he had landed in Asia instead of America?

I am reading The bonding by Imogene Keeper. The book is filled with hourly sexual rendezvous.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

Right now I'm reading the Taking by Kimberly Derting, which is a sci-fi story following a girl who goes missing for five years but hasn't changed at all. It is a very interesting read and I would recommend it to not so hardcore sci-fi fans.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed! So far I am loving it, and it hauntingly reminds me of when my grandma died from lung cancer. Has already made me tear up because of that.

Hi Fran, I read that book last year. It was ok, not the greatest read for me - but it was still nice.
