I really like reading american and japanese books. Japanese books meaning: manga. At the moment I'm reading a few mangas. And I'm going to pick up a book called Gentlewoman.

The Maze Runner. It's really good, but for some reason a very slow read.

Just started The Gold Finch by Donna Tartt. From Amazon:

Theo Decker, a 13-year-old New Yorker, miraculously survives an accident that kills his mother. Abandoned by his father, Theo is taken in by the family of a wealthy friend. Bewildered by his strange new home on Park Avenue, disturbed by schoolmates who don't know how to talk to him, and tormented above all by his longing for his mother, he clings to the one thing that reminds him of her: a small, mysteriously captivating painting that ultimately draws Theo into the underworld of art.

As an adult, Theo moves silkily between the drawing rooms of the rich and the dusty labyrinth of an antiques store where he works. He is alienated and in love-and at the center of a narrowing, ever more dangerous circle.

I know I'm a bit late, but I am currently reading Insurgent. To tell you the truth, I'm not very happy with the writing style. it seems rushed and primitive, and because of it's decent plot line, it could be so much better.

I am always reading a couple of books at a time and the books that I am reading right now are North Country Hero by Lois Richer(it's a love inspired book that my MIL gets delivered in the mail and are very easy reads), Harvest by Tess Gerritsen, and The 5 Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell. I like to mix intense, thought provoking reading along with something light and fun to read just before bedtime.

The book I am currently reading is Carnal Innocence by Nora Roberts. I enjoy reading all of the J.D. Robb mysteries, so I thought I would try her out under her main pen name. I am enjoying it so far. The characters are well developed and so far I do not have a guess as to who the killer is. I love it when an author can keep me guessing. :D

I'm currently reading 'Wedding Babylon' by Imogen Edwads-Jones. I've only just started it but it seems really good - especially since my other half proposed two weeks ago! It's getting me in the wedding planning spirit as its based around a week of a wedding planner :)

Rudyard Kipling's Kim.
Still early days to say anything about it.
