One of my favourite series. If you like Anita, I can recommend her "Merry Gentry" series.

I'm about to start with "Burial Rites" by Hannah Kent. The story sounds really interesting.
Northern Iceland, 1829. A women condemned to death for murdering her lover. A family forced to take her in. A priest tasked with absolving her.
But all is not as it seems, and time is running out: winter is coming, and with it the execution date.

Right now, I am reading, The Borrowers, Ashes to Dust, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimph, (re-reading) Mockingjay, Peter and the Starcatchers, Howl's Moving Castle, Stick Figure, Octavian Nothing Vol. II, and Shutter Island. I'm reading all of these at random. I start in one, pick up the other, read a bit in this and that. I keep jumping around. I want to read all my books, so I'm starting with these.

One is a book I am reviewing for this site!
One is a book I am kind of taking a break from because it's so long.
And one is Prophase!!!

just been given a set of dick francis novels...obviously iv heard of him but don't very often read a) popular authors and b) crime but am finding all his books so far very enjoyable easy reads (I do sometimes read rather obscure stuff and it can get a bit hard work so its nice to have something straightforward and simple!) plus I like horses!

"Lingua Latina Per se Illustrata, Pars I: Familia Romana"--not an English book, but I still def recommend it. It's a book that's supposed to teach you Latin even though it's written completely in Latin.

A collection of Turkish Tales. Simple morality stories, not much to them but fairly interesting.
