I'm currently reading "Maurice" by E.M. Forster for my university English class. It is a really well-written book dealing with same-sex romance. I recommend it to anyone interested in the subject.

Hello. I feel the same way. I love hearing what other people are reading. It's a great way to discover new books.

Right now I'm reading "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt". I haven't read a biography in a while, but I was watching the documentary "The Roosevelts" and I found it really interesting.

For anyone who has had this devastatingly debilitating disease affect their life in any way, this book is a must read. It is however a book that anyone would be able to empathize with and learn from.
That was a fantastic story.

Since it is now October, I decided to pull a childhood favorite off of the shelf to get into the season: The Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark series. A few years back, the publisher re-released them with tamer illustrations (the originals were horrifying!), and although many people were angry about the switch, I bought them anyway because I love folktales.

I'm currently reading The Prodigal by Derek Walcott for my university class, which is a really fascinating read. I'm also reading The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.

Post Office by Charles Bukowski - I remember when I was a kid my older brother had a copy of it because he worked for the post office. I became a fan of Californication and the character Hank Moody which is supposed to be loosely based on Bukowski. So I'm starting to read his body of work.

I am reading To Kill A Mockingbird. My daughter is having to read this for school, and I have never read it. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to read this along with her, and we could have discussions about it. I was suppose to read this for my paralegal training, but that was an optional assignment. I am ashamed that I didn't complete that task, but now am making up for it.
