^^It was really cool, seeing Esther was definitely like seeing a celebrity. I've been watching their workshops on youtube for years so it was really neat to actually be in one for once.

Right now, I am currently reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I know I'm a little late to the game, but I figure it's never to late to start.

Right now I am reading Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick! I have heard great things about it but wasn't sure what the plot was. Turns out I picked the perfect time to read it as autumn has just started and Halloween is drawing near! It is a creepy but thrilling story told in seven parts, each one different but interconnected with the others. I am on the last of the seven stories and though I have had chills and been scared to turn around, I highly recommend it! Happy spooky reading!!

I have just started Melmoth the Wanderer by Irish writer Charles Robert Maturin, first published in 1820.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

I'm reading Where Secrets Sleep by Marta Perry. I found that I loved her writing style years ago when I was receiving Love Inspired novels each month in the mail. I was thrilled to find that she had more books while visiting the library recently!

I'm rereading Burial Rites by Hannah Kent, because it's one of my favourite books, and also A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle for the first time. I'm enjoying both of them.

I just started reading:

1) Tempering the Rose by Dionne Lister: I'm loving this creative fantasy so far!
2) The Italian Wife by Kate Furnivall: Also, loving this historical fiction set during Mussolini's time in Italy. Very interesting so far!
