How many series are you currently.in the middle of?

Post by cogarae »

I am currently in the middle of I think 5 series! I finally finished the divergent series a month ago cUz I saw that the
movie was coming out. But I have all these other series I need to finish. I blame the kindle first for getting me started on the first book in series!

Let's see...The Mortal Instruments, Matched, Percy Jackson and The Infernal devices. The Kill Order has been on my TBR list for months.

I refuse to list the series I am in the middle of. I'll just say that it's too many, and leave it at that

Absolutely love it! I've actually read them when I was younger. I had the desire to read them again though, which I'm happy that I am. I almost forgot what a wonderful job J.K. Rowling did in creating such an amazing fantasy world! Thank you for asking :D

I am a completionist, so I have a really hard time reading anything else (fiction anyway) when I am in the middle of a series, unless the series is yet to be complete. I'm technically still in the middle of George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire and Scott Lynch's Gentleman Bastards. Both are excellent series that have me entranced in their worlds and caring deeply about the characters, and both authors take a maddeningly long time to release new material with expected release dates that keep getting pushed back. :(

I'm currently only in the middle of one series: Wing Slayer Hunters by Jennifer Lyons, and I'm only in the middle of it because I'm waiting on the next one in the series to be released. Every once in a while I go back and re-read a few of C.M.Owens series, like The Daughter Trilogy, The Curse Trilogy, and The Deadly Beauties . I don't usually stay in the middle of series because I read a lot, and fast (about a book every 1-3 days).

Unfortunately I am in the middle of several series since most of them do not come out until the end of the year:

1.) The Remnant Chronicles by Pearson, Mary E.
2.) The Selection by Kiera Cass
3.) Significant Series by Shelly Crane (different POV)
4.) Avalon Book by Elizabeth Kelly
5.) The Good Ol' Boys by M. Robinson (different POV)
6.) Ruthless People by J.J. McAvoy
7.) Off Campus by Elle Kennedy (different POV)

Luckily some are in a different POV for the books, so I can finish a story line without a lot of cliffhangers, but I still can't wait to see how the series progresses!
