About 70/30, fiction to non-fiction. If I read non-fiction at all, it's generally philosophy, and I'm less interested in that kind of hard work at the moment.

Fiction is much more exciting in my opinion, because it is formed out of the imagination of the author.

I think my split would be 90% fiction and 10% non fiction. I always found fiction more fascinating because of the freedom to imagine and visualize without being bound by facts. But I am beginning to grasp the appeal of non-fiction now.

I read mostly fiction. So the split would be about 90/10 fiction/nonfiction.

I mostly read fiction but I am not adverse to reading non-fiction. Non-fiction has to be something that I am really interested in though like someone's life story or a story about animals or current events or else I lose interest. I always finish a book no matter how bored I am because I always think it will get better if I keep going.

I read fiction a lot, and non-fiction only if it's a "must" reading for my uni. I used to read it a lot more, mostly books about literature, genres, classifications etc.

I definitely read a lot more fiction compared to non-fiction. I'd have to say 9:1 fiction:non-fiction.

I find it easier to lose myself in fictional books :)

I read about 98% fiction and 2% non-fiction. Usually I only read fiction but every once in awhile I will read a historicalfiction/biography.

I'd say I read about 60% fiction and 40% non-fiction for pleasure. My reading for work is much more focused on non-fiction.

I tend to go through phases where I will binge read a genre, then switch to something entirely different, almost like a palate cleanser. This is the norm especially if I'm reading mystery or romance, perhaps because they tend to be more formulaic (not that that is a bad thing).

I'd say my split is 70% fiction and 30% non-fiction. I normally enjoy reading just for fun and to get swept away from reality for a bit. Non-fiction, however, does have it's merits, and I'd even have to break that 30% down further with, maybe, 33.3% of that coming from assigned reading for course work and 66.6% coming from topics that I really just wanted to find out more about on my own. And, after further consideration, I've decided that that's too much math. :)

I tend to read fiction over nonfiction. Probably about 80%to 40%. However, I read a lot of historical fiction, so it truly depends on my mood.

I prefer fiction over non-fiction. I would say probably 90% fiction and 10% non-fiction.
