What is the worst thing you've done to a book?

Lol! The burning was in my teens and no more needs to be said or I'm sure there would be hate mail for me! The 2 books I threw out were multiple short story books that barely made any sense. No way I was even going to insult anybody I knew by trying to pass them on.fabulasaule wrote:That's cruelBooky_BettyC wrote:Hmmmm. . .Not gonna tell the story but I've burned a couple books. I remembered throwing away some books that were a little bit of propaganda. Guilty too! But if talking seriously I do not judge anyone who destroys old and unuseful books. Some of them are realy worthless..Booky_BettyC wrote:Lol! The burning was in my teens and no more needs to be said or I'm sure there would be hate mail for me! I've never heard of that happening before but it makes sense, now that I think about it.zeldas_lullaby wrote: If we're talking accidents, when I was a kid, I left a book in the car, in that area behind the back seats underneath a narrow window. The book melted in the hot sun and the binding actually came unglued!!

The worst thing was probably loaning out one of my favorites then forgetting who I loaned it to. Never got it back.
