Re: Why You Should Read "Holding Fire"

Post by Heidi M Simone »

I read the first three stories and wow! There are definitely some talented people here! I'm hoping to finish it this weekend because I am so curious about the other short stories in this book. :)

I finished reading Holding Fire , and the only negative thing that I can say is I wish I would've picked it up sooner! All ten authors showcase their unique writing styles to create such a great collection of short stories about self-destruction. Each story is different from the other. The stories are great to read one after the other or in between books. If you haven't read it, definitely pick it up! :D

Sure, I'll give "Holding Fire" a try! I need to expand my reading of short stories anyways. The fact that the authors are talented forum members is a nice bonus. :D

I would love to read it then. Where do I get it?

I think it was Book of the Month when it first came out in 2015. I can't remember for sure. But, of course, you should read it. It's got some interesting stories in it. ;)
