What types of books do you like? This would help narrow down the lists of series to something that you may like.

Yeah, I'm not sure if you would like the kind of books that I like.
I'm really digging Sara Cannon these days, if you are into girly fiction about demons.

I really like Chelsea Cain. Her Gretchen/Archie series is so far 6 books long. It's mystery/thriller/horror. Some people don't like her style but I think she's amazing. Might be worth looking into if you're into that type of thing!

If you haven't read them yet, The Dragon Riders of Pern. Without a doubt one of the best series out there. And there are a lot of them.

The Stephanie plum series is hilarious.
Somewhere out there is a world we never knew existed.

Languages never spoken.
Colors that should not be.
Lives never opened.
Eyes that never see.

And then the page is turned, a universe created.

We are gods.

The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher
Toby Daye series by Seanan McGuire
Iron Druid series by Kevin Hearne

And if you happen to be into romance
Psy/Changeling series by Nalini Singh

More input of preference could help :)

Try T.C.Southwell for an author. Diane Duane is another good one.

If you want something on the lite side and decidedly different, there is a series by Lisa Lutz beginning with The Spellman Files which describes a family of detectives as told by the eldest sister, Izzy Spellman. You should read them in order but I read The Curse Of The Spellmans first which is the best of the series if I am any critic, though the first one sets the background. Included in the first novel is an appendix in which Izzy Spellman includes a list and rating of her former boyfriends and conclusions based upon her relationship with them.

In these novels Lutz provides a refreshingly new comic perspective to life and family relationships against the backdrop of a family business. We covered this author long ago on these boards and, as I recall, Fran and a few others read these books, and as far as I can remember they also liked them ... but I can't speak for them here. I had an opportunity to meet Lisa Lutz once a long time ago but couldn't disengage myself from a previous commitment. I've been told that she is just as funny in person as her writing is in her books.

Look up The Spellman Files on Amazon and read the prologue and first chapters from the "Look Inside" sample they give you ... this will give you a pretty good fix on her style of writing.

My favorite book series at the moment is the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain. There are five books so far in the series and once i start one of her books I can never put it down. The Sword Of Truth series by Terry Goodkind is also good.

The Miss Julia series by Ann B.Ross. Cozy mystery/southern culture[18 books]. Be sure to read the synopsis of the first book~ Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind,to get an idea if this series would be as fun for you as it is for me.

Steven Jeral Harris is a great author. He has me and my friends hooked. The funny thing is...he's unknown and only have written one book. It's called Untamed. But wow, the book is mind blowing. It was like watching a movie.
