I have exactly zero right now, but I do live on the same property as a library right now, and I can't really buy books. Even if I had the money to buy books with, I doubt that I would buy books and never read them. That would be like buying a cheeseburger and never eating it. Just thinking about it makes me shudder.

Several dozen– I've been making a point of getting to them. Some are gifts, others books I think I "ought to read," like major award winners, that I don't really want to read.

I think my additions to my book stash is greatly outpacing my ability to read fast enough to keep up! Bah!

So many! I think it's because I tend to buy handfuls of books at once on a whim and I don't always have the time to read them. I forget I'm still studying and my time has to be placed elsewhere sadly.

I have little self control when it comes to buying books. I have 98 unread books at last count, and over 1000 unread ebooks.

I made a deal with myself that I can't buy any new books until the unread list on my kindle gets down to 2 pages. Originally I said 1 page, but that's never going to happen!

All of my unread books are on my Kindle. I get all kinds of offers - new book $1.99 - can't beat that with a stick. So I have quite a few books. Unfortunately I frequently can't remember whether I have read some of them based on the title only. I have got to find a better way to organize them! I am a compulsive buyer. I walk into the book store and I panic... so many books, so little time. I am afraid I might miss reading something really good.

I guess many of us are preparing for the apocalypse, by buying many more books than we could ever possibly read!

I own none. I read them way too fast and then can't be bothered to go to the library /shop afterwards.

In print? About 23, most of which are used. I went through a non-fiction Romanov related buying binge & haven't read a single one of 'em!! LOL! I'm gonna get to them!! ;P

Hard to say as most of my books are in storage for the time being due to moving and lack of space, but I know that I have a small 3-shelf bookcase in my bedroom with about 50 on it that has yet to be read as well as 5 regular sized totes (the deep ones that you use for Christmas storage) that are packed to the top and taped shut.
