More than I realize, I'm sure :D Between my bookshelves and my Kindle, I just can't keep track anymore.

Hi ^^ I'm curious to know the meaning of "occupare fati suffocavit" :)
It is kind of like carpe diem. But in this case it means: seize fate by the throat. To me it means to take our destiny into our own hands and not just let life "happen" to you.

Unfortunately, about two shelves. I read them all at once. I'll start a bit in one, then jump to another and then start another. I slowly make my way through them. If I really like a book, I read through it in a night.

I have heaps I haven't read and I blame the library for that. I find that I always want to borrow more and more books and then they have to be read before I can return them which gives me the pressure I need to decide on reading those books. It also doesn't help that there are books on my shelf that have been read in excess of 20 times as j find myself reaching too often for the old familiar books.

I have about a dozen or so that I haven't read; mostly stuff that I picked up from the basement of my apartment building - aka where everyone throws their perfectly good but unwanted stuff in the hopes that somebody else in the building will find a use for it. I can't help myself, if it looks like fiction and I haven't read it yet, I pick it up. Still haven't read a lot of them since most of them appear to be psuedo-historical romance novels, which isn't exactly my favorite genre.

I would feel guilty if I actually counted. I am a impulse shopper. Even when I'm grocery shopping I have to walk through the book section. I also attend the book fairs, which is when I buy out of my comfort zone. Then never get around to reading them.

It is probably in the 700's. I don't know an exact number, but it's close to 700.

Quite a few, I tend to buy more than a should when I'm at the bookstore, I guess my eyes tend to be bigger then my,... well, eyes. Haha. Also, I have a problem with sometimes not finishing books, because when I go to read a book my mood for what I want to read would be one way. But by the time I have read some of the book, my mood for what I want to read sometimes chances, therefore I don't always finish the books because I have went on the a different one. I guess the heart wants what the heart wants.
