Yes that is what I was thinking the relationship is what makes the end sad. I feel that about books that aren't even in a series.White Dove wrote:I often feel that way especially if the book is part of a series. I get anxious to get to the end to find out how the story is completed but then sad because I know that my "relationship" with the characters is over.
