WAR FICTION - advice needed!

Post by babytash »

Dear all,
I am new here, so, sorry if I am doing smth wrong

I need an advice for the following:

I am going to write a paper about mental disorders of British soldiers after the First and, eventually Second, World Wars: shell-shock, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), drug abuse among soldiers, and so on, and how those cases are depicted in fiction.

I need 4-5 fiction books containing the above-mentioned topic/topics.

It has to be either a book about British soldiers, or by a British author, or both - so, it must have a connection to Britain.

I hope my request is not too long or demandful, and would be really happy, if you could advice me something.

Regards,
babytash
