Hi Bighuey and Jasson007, I assume you are referring to the Jack Kerouac novel On the Road. Can either of you tell me what it is supposed to be about? I was totally bored, as I thought it was probably the most pointless book I have ever read. I respect that you consider it a favourite - it's great that people have different tastes.Bighuey wrote:Good choice. On The Road is one of my favorites, too.

Good to know! I just started this one. Been on my TBR for a long time.rachel5 wrote:My absolute favorite book is The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe from C.S Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia. I first read it when I was eight or nine and I saw the movie in 2005. I have several books that I like but that will always be at the top. I love the Coronation scene

There wasnt much point to it, thats for sure. Its just about a bunch of wanderers and their adventures rambling around the country and their free and easy lifestyle. Back during the Beatnik era, it was a very popular book among the Beat generation. At one time I was a wanna-be Beatnik, but I could only do it on weekends. I had to work during the week.Redlegs wrote:Hi Bighuey and Jasson007, I assume you are referring to the Jack Kerouac novel On the Road. Can either of you tell me what it is supposed to be about?
