I've had this happen to me and I hate it. That's why I always ask the person I'm talking to first if they've finished the book/series.

It doesn't bother me if they do. I am very likely to read the last page first before I even start on the first page.

Sometimes and it burns me up when they do.

I usually read the last page before I start a new book, so it doesn't matter to me. I also try to get my husband to tell me the endings of films that he's seen before I watch them, but he refuses - he thinks I'm weird :-/

One of my friends told me the ending of “Allegiant” because she read just a couple of weeks after it came out, and I was so pissed!! I’m not a big fan for the ending of that book! I would say why, but I don’t want to spoil it for people (the way it had been spoiled for me!). Just know that it’s devastating!
My weekend is all booked!

yep, I found out that someone died in the 3rd Hunger Games while still reading the first! Two girls were discussing the book across the room and didn't consider people who hadn't got that far yet!!

Uh huh. I was in studyhall one day, innocently doing my work, and I hear some girl spoil the ending to Alligent by Veronica Roth. Note, I've only read Divergent so far. I was beyond upset.

No, I guess it's a perk of not really having any friends that share the same passion or liking for reading as I do. And the one friend I do have that loves to read will recommend a book but she won't go into detail about the book. She'll give me the title and I will look it up and then we will discuss it later.

No I would never ask. I'm more likely to squeal 'Don't tell me! Don't tell me! I haven't read it yet!!'

it has happened to me a couple of times. There was a guy at my work that spoiled some parts of A Song of Ice and Fire for me :S He basically told me who was going to marry who and who was going to die :S

Yes and I have never liked it. I always tell people not to tell me about the books they have read until I have read them myself because I prefer to make my own options and ideas in what the book was about, if I liked it and if I would recommend it. I don't mind if they recommend it to me just don't tell me what it is about!

I think it was Harry Potter series. It was not just the ending, but many things that were important. I was still young then, and it didn't bother me. I actually wanted more of spoilers, but now, thinking back, I wish she hadn't said. It would have been more exciting if it was spoiler-free
