I probably had close to a thousand at one time, my own and I inherited all of my mother's books. But I moved and had to give most of them away, my new place being much smaller. Share the wealth! I did keep my favorites of course and now I utilize the library.

I have never counted my books but I think I have round about 200 books, and out of them 30 books are very precious to me.

Oh a few hundred I would imagine ... every room in my house has books. My dream, if I won the lottery, would be to have an old style library with wall to wall bookshelves and big comfy armchairs and all the time in the world to read.

I agree. I wish I had a library like the Beast did in the Disney film, Beauty and the Beast.

Right now, I own 11 books. I definitely expect for my collection to grow. I normally just borrow books from the library, but nothing is better than having your own copy

Pfft. If I can count magazine holders in the bathrooms I have a bookcase in EVERY room of my house. Over flowing!

Wouldn't it be cool to have one of those libraries that went from floor to ceiling with the rolling ladders? I'd trade the bathroom for an outhouse if I could have a library like that.
Okay, maybe not, but almost!

It's funny, I like all kinds of books, but I like romances. The kind of romances that you hide the cover if you're reading it in public. I keep
those faves in my bedroom. I keep the ones that make me look smarticle in the livingroom!
