I own around 300 physical books. Then there is the 50 or so on my Nook. I loved buying books because I like to "show off" what I have read -- another reason it took me so long to get an ereader. My husband however is not so much of a fan of me need to "show off" and is constantly asking me to get rid of the ones that I will never read again. :P

I used to own about 100 books until my sister forced me to give them away because I had too much :( So, I am currently trying to increase the number of books on my bookshelf. Any suggestions for books I should read (preferably biographies) would be great.

I own hundreds, probably between 200 to 300. I am definitely a book hoarder, the only thing I do hoard! I don't even have enough shelves on my bookcases to hold all of my books! I aspire to have a library in my home one day <3

I've had to down sized over the last seven years. So I think I have around thirty books

I also like to check books out at the library so that may have also contributed to my low number ...

I could not tell how many books I own, but I have three 2m high bookshelves with 5 shelves each. The three of them are full of books placed in every position so they can fit in. My first one contain all my middle-grader books, YAs and graphics (Manga, comics, etc), the second one holds all my classics, contemporary novels and my way too full TBR shelve. I reserve the third one for learning. It is full of history books, dictionnaries, encyclopedia, many books for dummies and more!
If I do a really quick addition, i guess that i owned around 275 books!! And I didn't even count my e-books...I am almost sure that it will doulbe the number hahaha.
My bookshelves make me so proud, I could stand hours just looking at them :o

I have about a hundred books lying around my house now. While I don't mind splurging on books at sales, storage does seem to be a problem. :P

I have sold a lot of books, over 200 in the past month, because I lost interest in that genre of book , so I saw no reason to keep them around. But currently I would guess I am in the 300-400 range as well. and then I have hundreds and hundreds on my ereaders.

A large bulk of my fiction books are my Star Trek books. I almost have the whole set, and they take up a whole lot of room.

I have not taken the time to count all of my books but I did recently move into a house and am redoing my office, so when I am able to move all of my boxes of books in, I will be able to count them. I estimate I have a couple hundred books overall.
