I tried it as a kid, but ultimately I was too afraid of damaging my book to relax.

Absolutely not!! I had a friend who would read in the tub and as a result would never lend her any of my books. The potential for dropping them in the water and ruining them is far to great a risk. Her bookshelf was full of water logged and ruined books.

Hahahah! I don't in fear of getting the book wet. I once spilled water on my book and I had to get my Calculus book AND my Chemistry book and lay it on top of it. I try to protect my book as much as I could. I used to bring them around but now I don't, in fear of getting them destroyed or injured. It hurts me to see a cover bent.

Ahh, but the REAL question is....

Have you ever bathed while reading a book???

Nah, I don't have super powers yet... or a waterproof case for my Kindle.

Reading a book while in a hot, bubbly bath surrounded by candles as the only source of light is the ultimate form of relaxation.

All the time! But I always keep a dry towel close by to wipe my hands if they get damp.

No. I have never read while taking a bath. But I did try once to read something while taking a shower. That did not turn out very well. I don't think I will try it again.

No. I'm afraid that my books or e reader would fall in. That does sound relaxing though.

I love reading in the bath! I also love reading poolside or beach side. Unfortunately that means my pages do get wet, but that's proof of a loved book!

I tried this once and it didn't work out very well. Whenever I shifted in the tub, my hands would get wet and then I'd have to dry them on a nearby towel. Not to mention I was terrified I was going to drop it in the water!
