The book I am currently reading is 254 pages long. Typically I prefer when a book is no longer than 300 pages. I just tend to find that some authors will drag out the plot in order to add pages, and in my opinion if you do not have the complexity and content in you story then don't drag it out.

I'm reading an e-book, 61 pages, but the page is REALLY packed with words, it's almost 4 pages of a normal paperback one!
