Sometimes. It depends on my mood. It is usually a great time to read (for me). It's more quiet and calm which can really help me get into a good book.

It really depends. If my book is ending I never read before sleeping, because I know what will happen. It will keep me awake and I keep reading and then it's to late to go sleeping, but if I'm at the beginning of my book then I read before sleeping.

I frequently read before bed. I find it helps me relax and leave the day behind. It serves as a nice little escape. It helps me unwind. I find fiction books work much better than non-fiction for before bed though. I typically try to read about a chapter before bed.

Sometimes I do, but generally I like to read something of a more relaxing nature before bed, otherwise I may not be able to fall asleep. I've been kept awake too many a night by thinking about the plot, characters, etc., in a really fast-paced, action happening book, or I end up getting back up and finishing the book, lol. Hopefully, lesson learned.:)

I am the same way! I have to read about 30 minutes or so before sleep. If the book is good, easily I can kill an hour even two reading. Then I'm tired for work in the morning!

i do sometimes feel this way but if I read when I am too sleepy, my comprehension goes way down. I find that a quick meditation really gets me ready to go to sleep without losing chunks of info in my books to sleepiness.

Depending on the night, I may read before bed. Certain chapters of a story may cause me to read longer than originally planned, but I'd certainly forgo the rest for pleasure any day (or night, in this instance).

I read before I sleep, but I do not read in order to go to sleep. If I have time on my hands in the evening, then I will read or something of the like.

I had a Business Law Professor who gave a good bit of advice: if you have trouble falling asleep, read a prospectus. It is usually a lengthy amount of information that is in tiny font on a sheet of paper or two. I have never tried this, but it works for my professor. Hmmm...

What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

Bedtime without a book is like peanut butter without the jelly, a bicycle without pedals, Dean Martin without Jerry Lewis, a dog without its bark... It is simply JUST A MUST!
