The worst thing is having people ask for immediate favors. Not only do they interrupt your reading, but they keep you from it for some time.

When my parents know I get totally immersed in reading and they keep calling my name and asking me to do things when there are others free. And when people know I'm reading but they need to tell me something completely pointless.

The TV has been annoying me lately. My bf has to have it on when he is home, and it's bothersome.

The only thing that really bothers me when reading is if the power gets really low on the tablet or my phone... I hate being in the middle of something and then having to stop and plug it in... Doh!

My cat likes to climb up sometimes and push my book out of my hands to lay on it. It is quite unfortunate because I feel bad to move her off seeing as she only likes attention sometimes.

When the lights go out, because I usually favor hand held books over ebooks (though I've just recently been reading ebooks more) the most annoying thing to disrupt my reading is when everyone around me wants to sleep without the lights on, so I am force to save my reading for another day.

It never fails that as soon I sit down to read the phone rings, my son wants me or my husband has to have something that only I can find. It's like they have a six sense when I'm not up "doing."

Someone singing. I can put up with just about everything else, but hearing someone singing (whether it's a person in the room with me or from a CD) just makes it really hard to concentrate on reading.
