This is my favorite book genre so I have a lot of books that are my "favorite." Each one of these opened my eyes to viewing the world in a different way. They have great commentary about our current society. They serve as wonderful cautionary tales.

The maze runner by James Dashner
Starters Series by Lissa Price
Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion
Feed by M.T. Anderson
The Giver by Lois Lowry
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
Delirium Series by Lauren Oliver
Silo Series by Hugh Howey
The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Brandbury
Uglies Series by Scott Westerfeld
Animal Farm by George Orwell
Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Colllins
1984 George Orwell
World War Z by Max Brooks

My Favorite are the 3 book series of The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I was sucked in from the first page unit the very end. I am in love and Liam, and I really liked Ruby as well.

There are so many, but one of the most recent ones that I really enjoyed was "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. However the sequel "The Twelve" was not as good.

Flow my tears the policeman said is the story of Jason Traveler. He is a famous person who loses his identity. It isn't that he no longer is famous but instead has no identity anymore whatsoever so he was thrust into this brutal dystopian landscape in an effort to find out who he is and who he was. It's a really fascinating read.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. It's my favorite dystopian book because it manages to elicit critical thought on how the future may be (at least for me).

Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale is a really good one. I also liked 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. I haven't read The Road yet. I really want to though.

I have to say the best ones I have read so far is the Divergent Series. I really enjoyed the world that the author setup and how everything in society worked.

I am not sure if this is dystopian it not but I love the Maze Runner series it's a very good read that has you in the edge of your seat and always guessing what's going to happen.
