Acquired yesterday (none today! My bank account thanks me):

House at the End of the Street (movie tie-in--haven't seen the movie, but it looked interesting!)

Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris--looks like an interesting teen sci-fi mystery by a new author!

Mystic by Alyson Noel--haven't started the series yet (this is #3 in the Soul Seekers) but I've read from her Immortals series and she is AMAZING!!! So I went ahead and picked it up for my collection.

God Bless Barnes & Noble!!!

hazelk, thats one thing about e-books. They dont take up much room. Ive got about 300 paper books, I wont get rid of them. Most of them are rare hard to find books and couldnt be replaced.

I found an e-book website that has what they call pulp fiction. They have those old books that were popular years ago, cheap trashy detective and westerns with the scantily clad girls on the covers and some very good sci-fi from the Golden Age. Ive downloaded quite a few of them. Epics like Alley Slut and Death Becomes You, stuff like that.

I suppose working at the city dump would make an interesting story, you wouldnt believe what people throw away. The best thing I got there was a 6000 dollar Jazzy electric wheelchair that worked perfectly. And lots of books, thats for sure.

Bighuey,
I am not into e-books, as I love holding a paper back, if the time comes when I am unable to manage the written word I will go to Audio. My husband who was an avid reader uses the audio system from Vision Australia, they have a wonderful selection. Your selection of e-books does sound sooo interesting.

BTW Regarding the short story, I can picture someone finding your books and starting all over again as you had.

I picked up The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wrobleski. Has anyone read this? What were your thoughts?
