My favorite word today is ubiquitous. It means being everywhere at the same time. Love the way it rolls off my tongue.

For those not knowing, obduracy defines refusing to change in any way.

Kindle, because I just got my new Paper White Kindle today. Also, voluptuous. I just like the sound of it.

Amorphous = undefined (as in "Twelve, an age at which kids are bewildered and amorphous, transforming overnight"
We fade away, but vivid in our eyes
A world is born again that never dies.

Tintinnabulation... Because Poe invented it. :D

The line in which it is used in "The Bells:"

While the stars that oversprinkle
All the heavens, seem to twinkle
With a crystalline delight;
Keeping time, time, time,
In a sort of Runic rhyme,
To the tintinnabulation that so musically wells
From the bells, bells, bells, bells,
Bells, bells, bells-
From the jingling and the tinkling of the bells.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Okay, so it was more than one line I posted, but I couldn't help myself...
Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who only dream at night.

Combustible--this week, I've felt combustible. Its as if there is a chemical reaction happening inside of me leading up to something powerful, possibly destructive. When the word combustible flashed through my mind, I knew it was a perfect fit for me, here, now. But what I particularly like about the word is that it carries the idea of extreme agitation, but interestingly, as caused by heat or light. That gives me hope. Because heat and light are not in and of themselves bad--in fact they can be beautiful, live-saving sources, both of them, separately and as they are in relationship with one another. So maybe these hellish circumstances are not leading to a hellish brand of destruction, maybe its a heat like gold must pass through or the lighting of a firework. There's nothing safe in the word combustible, but there's hope for a powerful brand of beauty.
